Big Homophobia? How about Big Bestiality?
Big Homophobia? How about Big Bestiality?
Well, no. You have to keep it proportional and understand what they’ve done, how serious it is, and what they can do to make up for it or how long they should be punished in the court of public opinion for it. You can’t just accept cancel culture at face value and treat everyone on it’s never ending list equivalently…
“I Could Have Lied” is a jam
Exactly. I haven’t watched Fallon since this pattycake Trump interview, and I found this article obnoxious.
People who ridicule entertainers because they personally aren’t entertained by them are entirely missing the point of life.
Edi is rad, but...why is this a news item?
Remember when the AVClub would review classic shows? And would sometimes even go back and review episodes of a show it hadn’t originally reviewed, so as to make a complete set of reviews? Now they don’t even review the finales of zeitgeist shows.
This recap mostly skipped over Kelvin bearing the cross (!) and kicking his Power Team out of the compound.
Maybe I’m missing some sarcasm here, but, I don’t think this is supposed to be suggesting that Andy actually lived in some sort of advanced, futuristic world with crazy technology and aliens. Rather, Andy watched a movie about futuristic worlds and technology and aliens and bought a toy from that movie. Now this movie…

I think there are a number of ways to read Dory’s final scene, some more positive than others. Does it show that Dory’s matured because she’s no longer trying to glom onto other people’s tragedies? Or indicate her growing understanding that her alienation makes her normal rather than special? Or is it a sign of…
loved the ending. once i realized what was happening i was hooting and hollering. i love big swings, and this show took some big ass swings.
I am so glad that Alia Shawkat had this show as a showcase for her
This is one of those shows (like Seinfeld and Always Sunny, I’d argue) where the four leads are so specifically and precisely observed/written/acted that the main fun of each episode is watching their rock-solid dynamic bounce off of the latest madcap scenario or absurd cameo guest (Anne Dowd! Wallace Shawn! Susan…
Fucking lol:
Yes, I’ve been saying for years I’m still around because I am too old to unlearn and relearn new sites. And I like the commenters here.
I saw the original Woody in the Mic Mac Mall as a kid in the 80s and it was awesome. I was blown away that he would actually interact with you. I told my daughter about it but she didn’t believe me, and I half thought I dreamed the whole thing up.
And to think, the AV Club had Myles McNutt around for years, just waiting for an iconically Nova Scotian story like this.
I’m a Nova Scotian, and I honestly had no creeps from Woody when I was a child at the shopping mall, but that’s how creeps work I guess! Only adults know they are creepy!
Honestly, I love the first Jurassic World.
