I bet the LAPD didn’t pay out a single penny in compensation and got any lawsuits dismissed by claiming qualified immunity.

You forgot to include “Dealership owners are so conservative that they make the NADA annual convention look like GrindrCon CPAC”

Imagine the kind of R&D and EV production that could be made with $10b.

Sir, your Bolt EV is approaching its 10,000 mile service. We Recommend the following services:

The NADA’s aversion to EVs isn’t really about EVs per-se. There are three key issues:

Facts don't matter. Say something often enough and loud enough and a third of the country will believe it.

One thing Pizzagate goobers never talk about is that the Comet Ping Pong gunman proved it was fake. He shot through a lock and found no hidden doors or sex dungeons, then said he was wrong about the whole thing. And Elon is still validating it seven years later.

The baby elephant suffered a bit of road rash, and was referred to a pachydermatologist.

I didn’t “hype” (I’ve grown out of that, I find that I enjoy games a lot more if I’m not expecting The Greatest Game EVAR!”), bought it at launch, and played it for 170 hours. And then I moved on to one of the many other big releases that came out at the same time. (just

Maybe if cops gave appropriate tickets and people lost their licenses for unsafe driving we could have nice things.”

My normal street parking spot gives me a Left on Red followed immediately by another Left on Red on the way to work. Not a Dad, but it makes me giggle to an unnecessary degree when I get yelled at for doing it by other drivers, which happens often. I even start smiling when I make the first turn in the morning because

As a frequent user of Right on Red, begrudgingly I agree.

The older I get and the more I see people do stupid shit, the more I appreciate laws like no right turn on red. If 1 in 100 drivers are incapable of safely making a right turn, it’s still too many and will eventually result in unnecessary accidents.

He could possibly be an elder Gen X’er....mid 50s. Some of them got into the lead paint/gas.
