Hmm, if only there were another way to deflate tires without ruining them.

Hopefully Minneapolis will be paying to have these tires replaced and identifying and firing these officers.

Any police here want to push the limitations of the Blue Wall of Silence on this matter?

If police can destroy private property because it could be used as a weapon, then they can destroy pretty much anything they want. Th argument is absurd on its face. Hopefully Minneapolis will be paying to have these tires replaced and identifying and firing these officers.

“State Patrol troopers strategically deflated tires ... in order to stop behaviors such as vehicles driving dangerously and at high speeds in and around protesters and law enforcement,” he said.

I was at the protest in my city on Friday night. At one point, the police all left. The helicopter stayed up, but literally not a police car or officer in sight. Guess what happened? There was a couple minutes of chants, then someone put “This Is How We Do It” on over the PA system and a dance party broke

There are bad apples and complicit apples because hey, they might want to be one a bad apple some day.

Whenever I am reading a news story and they start to quote a police union rep or spokesperson, I realize I’m about to get the worst possible take on the situation.

Break the unions. When they can’t impose what amounts to immunity for misconduct, things will improve.

It seems like when we try to pick out the bad apples, the rest of the apples band together to slap our hand away.

It is a microcosm of white America right now. Rather than admit the problem and fixing it they are reacting with fear. In this case, fear of accountability.

Not just that, but the police union president gave the old “they were just following orders” excuse.

I think it’s a damned shame considering there was such a brouhaha over this Taxi Van Deathmatch, a few years back. The Nissan got the controversial win. Now they’re like “nope, we’re out”.

Lucas is shocked that you question this, given current market conditions being grounded in electric.

Too short-sighted. We need a taxi for the day after tomorrow, capable of handling NYC’s annual 100 year flood.

Meanwhile I’m wiping my ass with any old truck I find laying around the house.

Between the novels, comics, AvP franchise and all that, the canon is entirely thrown out the window. Clearly Scott feels the story is his to write regardless of earlier story elements, including from his own films (which to be fair, is technically true, but does make the story less satisfying for the audience).

No clue on desks, but we just got a new couch and my back is so much happier. Extra firm filling and not-deep sitting ftw!

Are those guys driving a Changli on the sidewalk?

Sorry San Fran, your bridge is a kazoo now.
