Same. My wife is working from home and I’m in healthcare. We both agreed the other day that we don’t need the cash and we’d rather people in sectors getting laid off get more than what they are saying will be handed out. I was thinking of setting that money aside and tip my bar tenders and servers like a newly minted

Come to Hawaii. We’re always in need of RNs, especially in skilled nursing facilities. The cost of living is sky high but the beach is free and spam musubis are cheap. Bring a coat though, we’ve been down into the 60s recently.

Just wait 10 years when the plastic on all of the street parked examples turns that lovely shade of grey. Then it’s gonna look real nice.

Cool museum. If they run out of floor space, there is plenty of room to park a few cars or a bus in the Beskid’s panel gaps.

After prodding from my wife I picked up the trilogy last month and couldn’t put it down. Octavia Butler’s writing was phenomenal. Fantastic world building but also a flawless description of the Oankali that managed to make them so alien but yet understandable. If done well this is going to rock.

Lincoln City and most of the towns on the Oregon coast are pretty much packed into a thin strip that hugs the coast.

I did the same thing. TNG and Voyager really confuse my Alexa. I’m very slowly working my way through Voyager so it happens infrequently enough that I haven’t changed it back. My wife did change the acknowledgment sound from the Alexa voice to a subtle chime and it made an improvement.
