I would recommend getting a string winder. They are little plastic handles that fit over the turnkeys of the tuning pegs and make the process of winding the strings much easier and quicker. They will run you less than 5 bucks at a music shop, and can often be found next to the strings and picks.

If you have some money to burn and a Whole Foods nearby, Jeni’s Ice Cream was selling their Frose in pints last I knew. Stupid expensive but incredibly tasty.  Birthday treat?

Grilling and cocktails? You’re speaking my language here. My wife and I figured out we can use our ice cream maker to make frośe, so that often happens during grilling season. Cheers to a happy birthday!

Kale is rarely as good as any other hearty green. Chard is where it’s at. 

I don’t mind “cheeseburger soup” and that has lettuce in it, so I say go for it. Like you said, worst case the dish sucks and you have less lettuce, so maybe cook a second meal at the same time that you don’t mind reheating if the soup turns out okay.

Most of my social interaction is with my roommate who is surprisingly cavalier about social distancing, so that’s lovely. The cat lost the ball in his little catnip toy, so I’ve been on the look out for replacement ping pong balls for the past few weeks. For some reason, every store around me is clear out of them. It’s baffling. I broke down and ordered some last night off of Amazon, a 40 pack for 12 bucks.

When are you setting the traps? During the fight or before it? I’d recommend doing it beforehand after seeing where they’re going (the little trail they go on that shows their path with the focus)
