I just picked up Iceborne. Haven’t played MHW in almost two years, and now that Destiny 2 isn’t fun, I’m back in. Having a great time so far (although I forgot I named my Palico after my dog who’s since passed).

As I mentioned on yesterday’s post, I ride my bike a lot so that has been most of my outdoor time. We are still allowed to ride outdoors as long as we are not riding in groups, but yesterday afternoon they closed all of the provincial parks, which means a few of my favorite riding spots are now off-limits (they had

The few pictures I’ve seen of NYC make it look like a few people are out, but not nearly enough to worry about crossing paths with people. Couldn’t you get out to run once in a while, or is it absolutely not allowed?

Im fishing a couple of times each week. A nice way to get out, people tend to keep distance even w.o. Corona on their mind.

My new norm:

We have a couple routes we’ve been taking our dogs out for walks on, and it covers a few different neighborhoods. Definitely more people out for walks than I usually see, and lots of yard and house projects going on. Also more roving small groups of older kids and teens. Playground shut downs haven’t quite taken root,

Most of my outside time has been taking my dog out and playing fetch. She is a cockapoo (cocker spaniel and poodle) mix, and just an absolute terror when it comes to playing. One of my recent challenges from working from home is that she thinks all time is play time right now because I am present. It took a few years

It’s an amazing March week for the NW. Though I suppose I should mow the lawn at some point.

Small Pleasures a List:
1) Fresh brewed coffee. Nothing like it. I would advise to not skimp on coffee if you ever thought of investing in a grinder or french press to up your coffee game now is the time.
2) Slow Cooked Chili. Easy to make, super healthy, super tasty, and a feeling of accomplishment as you actually did

I was wiped out after walking the dogs yesterday, and my brain wouldn't settle on something to do after dinner, so I took a nap next to a dog and when I woke up my wife had a warm chocolate chip cookie right there and everything was better for the rest of the evening.

Today is a very exciting day for me today. I am finally going to be able to enjoy some of the fruits of my labors. I picked up Animal Crossing and Bloodstained this morning, and they are downloading right now. I’m also going to go and get a new chair during my lunch break. My current one is giving me a lot of body

One of the main things getting me through the week is my Friday morning plan. There’s a local business open nearby that not only is a coffee shop, but also kind of serves as a fresh market. They have things like limes and lemons and banans and eggs there.

I am so with you. I played two or three levels into Doom Eternal and it wasn’t for me because it just wasn’t the feeling you describe about 2016. I’ve played three levels into a new playthrough of 2016 and it’s so much fun. No frustration, only fun.

I definitely have to remind myself it’s a day to day thing right now. I had a good weekend: made biscuits, did some home tasks, made a few good meals, walked the dogs, played some Doom 2016 and Yakuza 5, and felt good on Sunday. Yesterday my energy ran away, I got worried about virus stuff, had a hard time focusing on

The pomodoro technique being referenced in the cover image is really great for productivity. I’ve found it to be an incredibly successful tool for myself. But its so successful, that I put off using it because I guess I am learning that I really don’t like being productive.

Started working on a Game Grumps animated because I’ve always wanted to and now I have the time. Let’s see if I can get it done within 2-3 weeks of work!

I decided to treat myself with a couple new games, so I finally bought Disco Elysium and RE2 at Steam’s sale and Control at Epic’s sale. I feel a little guilty spending money on frivolous things like that, but we’ve tightened up the rest of our budget as much as we can at this point even though our incomes haven’t

I finally bought Death Stranding. It’s the strangest game I’ve ever been unable to put down. I fully understand both reviews this site published. Please someone send help.

Well, I stayed up too late last night trying to get a jackpot I didn’t actually need in a pachinko mini game in Yakuza 5, so I’m hoping to be smarter and get more sleep tonight and not derail myself into any depression. I feel ridiculous focusing on such small matters like enough sleep in light of what so many others

Alright, I’m plugging my own podcast on here.
