Sekiro. Doing a bunch of grinding before I attempt to beat the final few bosses of the game as I don’t see myself playing it again any time soon but I want a bunch of skills upgraded.

I’m finally back playing God of War on PS4, after interrupting my playthrough with Borderlands 3, and it’s so good. I was worried it would take me a while to get back into what I was doing that I actually put off playing it again for a bit, but it was less painless then I thought it would be. They really did a great

Now playing

Got an hour and change into Titanfall 2's campaign, you guys were right, it’s a lot of fun right now. Or rather, it’s fun when you’re on the ground and HOLY SHIT when you’re in the Titan. I’ve only scratched the surface of what’s in store, but really digging it.

I beat Control this week and just need 2 more trophies to platinum the game. Now Im trying to decided what PS4 game to play next: Horizon Zero Dawn, Nioh, Nier or Yakuza 0. Besides that Im also playing Ghostbusters Remastered on the switch. I know its not a great game but its good enough for me and it gives me my

This weekend kicks off the holiday hustle and bustle, with going out to a Christmas play (this year a Jane Austen themed one), tomorrow going listen to hundreds of tubas play carols, Sunday for baking stollen for a work potluck, and lots more baking and Christmas cocktail outings during the week.

Got GT Sport for $10 over Black Friday and I’m glad folks here encouraged me to give it another shot. I bought it launch week and returned it quickly when the single player side was hilariously underbaked to the point of not even existing. Credit to Poly for adding a lot more 1P content (and content in general with

I just finished Control--and I loved where all the ending missions took me, just fantastic story--so now I’m getting back into No Man’s Sky as a chill time during all the forthcoming holiday time crunch. I’m excited for the latest updates, though when I launched my last save my guy instantly fell from nowhere on to

The Outer Worlds hooked me. My wife had a work thing last night, so I played for a solid 6 straight hours and, yeah, that sounds like there’s more in the upcoming days.

I just finished up my platinums of Tekken 7 and Burnout Paradise Remastered (protip: You can get the Wildcat Stadium trophy offline instead of trying to get an 8-player game going). The Tekken 7 one was surprisingly achievable thanks to a pretty excellent matchmaking system, I was always paired up with folks at my

After what seems like months of “I need to finish Breath of the Wild and then go back to finish up Bloodborne before I start anything else” I finally beat both games. I still have a couple of unfinished games in my backlog (Witcher 3 and RDR2, for example) BUT instead I opted to start Nier: Automata. So far I have no

More The Outer Worlds and Death Stranding with a dash of Gwent in between. CD Projekt Red did a stand up job of rebalancing Gwent. I haven’t played since it first came out, so the improvements are much appreciated.

I’ll be watching my 7 and 9 year old fight over who get’s to play Skyrim. This is the game phase we are at right now.  Both wanting to dive into the game.  I’m fairly proud of this moment.

I can stop working and fire up Jedi: Fallen Order in about two and a half hours. I am so amped.

I don’t even know how I got so worked up for the game. It’s been ages since I was super excited about something, and Star Wars isn’t usually a thing that does it.

Don’t let me down, Respawn. Haha, jk. The people who made Titan

Marvel’s Spider-Man.  I’m recovering from a tonsillectomy this weekend (and next week), so I’m gunning for that Platinum.

Still playing God of War. Still enjoying it. Still feel like I’m not very good at it (especially the puzzles....especially ringing the damn bells so I can open those chests!).

Better than the PS1 game, it’s a quintessential Potter game. Being able to go through all the movies in a free roam Hogwarts is super fun and the game being 95% platforming and puzzles (as opposed to the other Lego games that are tediously combat heavy) means it’s very low-impact and a great game to “chill” with.

Man, I want to play Control so much. It looks so good and the story and setting, what I’ve heard of them, tick like 85% of my favorite things (just add a spooky spaceship/station and it’d be the only game I ever needed), but I’ve still got a launch model Xbone, and I’ve heard the PS4 Pro/Xbox One X are barely able to

God of War. I recently purchased a PS4 and have been playing through some of the exclusives

My Dreamcast has remained hooked up so I’m planning on revisiting some more classics: Soul Cali 1, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Test Drive V-Rally, Crazy Taxi (because the only way to play it is with the original music, dammit)
