Yeah, I don’t see how this is anything but a win for TX. $40mm divided by 3,000 people means that this will need to generate $13,333 in tax revenue per person to break even. Income and sales taxes alone will probably knock that out in two years, if not one - nevermind the wages generated for local contractors, etc.

The one in the CA photo isn’t even an F Gen...it’s like 12 years old...

It’s a previous gen GT2 RS. You can tell because it says so on the door lol. But there are other ways to tell, like that carbon fiber hood.

I’m definitely going to swing by that dealer within a month or so. Oppo/Jaloo meet?

I’m going to sound insane here, but...that Carrera GT is a steal at $700k and I’d jump on it as an investment if I had the means.

Can’t tell if joking....

As with all major purchases, it’s all about making sure you own the car, instead of the car owning you. I feel bad for people who struggle to understand loan terms and depreciation, but not people who overspend for the sake of image.

“Dodge customers generously giving dealers interest-free loans!”

TIL that the majority of Americans are douches. Cool, I guess.

Exception to this is if the car isn’t local. I bought my car off a lease return, but it was in another state. The inspector caught things that I wouldn’t have uncovered in the online pics, Carfax etc., and some of those things weren’t warranty items.

I need 50 of these.

GTI is compact, not subcompact. More importantly, the GTI has 60 horsepower on the Cruze RS. No one cross-shopped them and Chevy didn’t expect anyone to, either. Last time Chevy sold something intended to compete in that space was probably the Cobalt SS.

The biggest value to come from this car is being able to remind current Mustang “purists” that the 4 cylinder Mustang is not a new concept and that the sky isn’t falling.

This is a great answer. Easier to work on, too.

In fairness, there are times where I can actually get behind this. I chose my Boxster with the I6 instead of the new turbo largely because I wanted one that sounds like a Porsche. Ford could put an EB motor in the Mustang that’s faster than the 5.0 and I’d still want a V8.

Are you trolling? A Subaru will *understeer* from the factory. Largely for safety reasons, but there are others. Literally everything you’re saying is wrong.

That’s...not totally true. AWD cars are great for pulling *out* of a corner because of their superior traction. They’re bad for entering a corner because they’re more understeer-prone than a RWD car. So saying they’re best for pulling “through” a corner is kind of misleading.

Youropinion is bad and you should feel bad

I know you’re being hyperbolic, but can you name a car besides Tesla that doesn’t have a button or knob for both of those controls?

Easily one of the best Easter eggs that Dan be found on a Tesla
