You hit the nail on the head. It’s an appearance package. If this were actually a 300hp Cruze, it would be much more aggressive looking and have at least an SS badge (remember the Cobalt?)

Also, where does the Cruze RS slot? Is it supposed to compete with the Focus RS?
Oh, there’s no question that the most frugal option out there is a lightly used, “regular” Prius. It’s also better for than environment. I see some Acura duck beak on the front of the Prime.
The people in Group 2 have an iPhone 7 even though their 6s did everything they needed it to do. You’re right that a regular Prius is fine. But then they’re missing something “cool” or “different”, which they’re hunting for. The Leaf and eGolf have failed to create that “Sheep” mentality that the Prius and Tesla have…
All electric would be awesome; I’m a big Tesla fan. Here’s the thing...there are two types of technology lovers out there:
I dig this thing. It’s not for me, at all, but it owns what it is: An ultra Eco-friendly car for the technologically inclined and budget conscious. That’s a huge market. Any car that has a distinct identity is alright by me. Plus, it’s waaaay less ugly than the regular Prius.
That is one wildly ugly, non-sensical machine. I love it.
This is way funnier than my comment. By volume, this thing is more expensive than the actual Bugatti...that's hilarious
One eighth of $2.65mm is more than $331,250. This thing is a STEAL!
Haha no, that I could’ve handled. But I rarely use it in tablet mode. So I was curious if I could just do it as a “laptop”.
Hmmmmmm - this didn’t do anything on Surface Pro 4 with Win 10 Anniversary
I thought the same thing but I don't think they come with parking sensors from the factory
If so, it just represents another failure on Yamaha’s part. The Spark sold out completely in its first year and continued to sell like hotcakes in the second model year. In fact, they didn’t even introduce the first rebate program on it until late in the 3rd season of its production. That’s unprecedented for a PWC.
Yamaha are idiots. The best-selling PWC in the market is a lightweight, inexpensive 2-3 person entry-level SeaDoo. First, Yamaha made a propaganda series detailing how bad the Spark is. Now they claim there just isn't a market there. I don't get it.
This is the best thing I’ve ever read on Jalopnik.
These look way better in person than in photos
Of all those people, you definitely suck the most.
Meh, a lot of this is true. I also use Reddit a lot and could wax poetic about how much worse it is in a lot of ways. The most valid critiques on there, besides the ironic “hivemind” comments, are mostly Gawker critiques: Kinja blows, it’s too corporate, etc.
Finally, I understand! Ha thanks.
I’m sure he means YT. It’d be silly and unnecessary for that with professional crews.
