Yep. TSLA is definitely obligated to report GAAP, so they’ve been reporting both - but it makes sense for any journalist to make the distinction, given the oddness of the earnings calls ha

Can you explain this joke? I see it everywhere.
Ehhh, that would be more true for most other public companies than Tesla, who loves playing around with numbers during their earnings call. The first time Tesla announced a profitable quarter, for example, it wasn’t GAAP.
Haha no worries
Yep - I got corrected already but I can’t edit the comment.
Huh. Surprising and interesting. I suppose I was only making an educated guess.
Definitely. No public company drops its biggest client over made up reputation concerns
“Especially with the ambushes lately”

Haha, dammit. Well, the questions still stands ;)
“cheapness of the tires”
C6 ZR1?
The worst part is definitely is that he’s giving himself credit for this.
Yeah...the microSD had a thin chance in hell. I just don’t understand why they would run over the GoPro...
Wait....but what happened to the GoPro the tank ran over near the A-Pillar?
It’s you
I’m not arguing with the actual classification or numbers at all. I’m just saying that no one will, in practice, cross shop the XD against something like a Ram 3500, but they will put it up against an F150, even if they’re classed differently.
