I first ran across her on the too-soon-canceled Trophy Wife (another good show with a terrible title!)

This guy is amazing.
November 6th. (Unless you’re talking about early voting.)
oh FFS
We are fuuuuuuuuuuuu
Apparently i am Chaotic Neutral, and also how annoying that i have to start all over again with Kinja (probably mostly because i can’t be bothered to figure out if all the profile-porting stuff actually works)
wow i really can’t figure out how to migrate my disqus to a kinja identity, so i am going to have to fall back on this old kinja acct o mine. time will tell if the av club is worth even checking out any more, i suppose.
Thanks for your input!
whoa dude take a breath.

You’re not the only one sayin!
It’s Anya Taylor-Joy, not Anna-Taylor Joy.
Looks like it was inspired by (or maybe just pays homage to) Long Weekend
i can’t believe this isn’t the top comment i mean COME. ON. It was the first thing i thought when i saw the Alias premiere, (and then that first ep of the last season of Buffy referenced kind of both of them, too)
Finished (and then re-watched) episodes 3 and 4 and am now much more confident in Lynch’s stuff with the town’s/original series’ characters. (Still wonder if Richard Beymer might not be too old & frail for Ben Horne to be anything but nostalgia/fan service)
I only watched the first two parts, so i’m not sure what happens in 3-4, but it seemed to me all the new stuff was top-form Lynch, still evolving and improving as an artist, but the stuff featuring the old Twin Peaks folks (with some notable exceptions) was the nostalgia trip i feared might happen. And i know actors…
(picking nits, i know, but details count if you want to maintain credibility: Michael is spelled “MichAEl” not “MichEAl”)
it was my favorite show.
Wow, i know this wasn’t your point, but my takeaway is “I need to move to Massachusetts.”
