I had to replace my PC with a laptop (750m gpu) due to very mobile period in my life. But then I actually refused to buy a PC or console until I finish all the “PS3 era” games (and some new indie games). And few weeks ago I actually finished my “Old backlog” and it feels amazing.

Well placed check points (HUGE emphasis on well) make a game so much better, giving you a chunk of game which has challenge as a whole not a set of challenges that should be approached individually.
Problems with games that were addressed by piracy:
1. Convoluted distribution and installation
2. Steep pricing

And then it takes one programmer mistake to lock up millions of hard drives with legal copies installed. For a major PR disaster.
I don’t think that’s possible. With this kind of approach you might as well sue someone for having the same letters in the name.

VR is still stupendously expensive for an average Joe. And even if someone has money, the incentive is kinda low. I mean why would anyone buy it apart from a few showcase games and few AAA titles that actually support VR. It needs a system seller.
