Blizzard should hire people based on their skill level and dedication. Gender and ethnicity should not be a qualifying factor when hiring individuals for highly skilled positions.

Why not hire (and pay) purely based on skill, merit and drive rather than race or gender at all? Isn’t that the type of equality we wanted in the first place?

The character was a Magical White Guy in the book. They just cast Edris Elba. I wouldn’t get too hung up on the race of the character, he was kind of an engima/blank slate/ManWithNoName type.
