Yeah, my original “pretty simple” was under the assumption that if a wall were already in place, with all obstacles surmounted, this wouldn’t have happened.

Oh my god I want the skin that looks like a Slav with Adidas *everything*. That will fit wonderfully with the Erangel map.

Well, whatever you believe, the fact is you (seemingly?) deliberately took one of my quotes completely out of context and attempted to use it as a resolution to our debate.

Tough quandry. I’d bet that there are a lot of people that’ll comment on this article who believe this guy should be able to play Smash who would likely condemn a, say, NFL player with a similar or even far smaller rap sheet.

Any particular reason why you ignored the entire rest of that comment other than a really limp attempt to salvage some sort of victory claim that you were right?

“Pretty simple, dude” was in response to a question which I believe was phrased “How the fuck would you know?” in response to my original assertion that the wall (if in place already) would have prevented these immigrants from dying in San Antonio.

Ah, indeed, the article, which is completely not an opinion piece, only happens to aggregate quotes of people (aka, “opinions”) from people who live or work near the border.

Oh, I read it, I just wholeheartedly disagree.

I would actually argue that this is a better way of raising awareness about it than an easily thrown away letter to a Congressman.

And is there a problem with having a giant wall, say, 25 feet in from the border and just, y’know, not ceding the land? Sure, I guess they could technically be in “America” but fat good that 25 foot wide strip of land is going to do them.

the art of reading, and attributing quotes to others.

Ah, congratulations, you have learned the art of reading, and attributing quotes to others.

Pro-tip: They came across the Rio Grande in a raft. If a big beautiful wall were in place on the U.S. side of the river, they couldn’t have come across that way, therefore they wouldn’t have ended up in a sweltering truck, and died in a goddamn Walmart parking lot in San Antonio.

Except it means that they will have to cross in areas that are stationed by Border Patrol.

Pretty simple, dude. These immigrants were obviously smuggled across the border, and *then* loaded into a semi-trailer in order to be shipped north (if they’d been in the trailer from the get-go and passed through the border via a main road, they would have been checked at a border checkpoint) . If the wall had been

If we’d had a wall, this wouldn’t have happened. Just sayin’.

Just got my first solo and duo dinner last night. Finally lol

I have no sympathy for her. If she wants to live around an “ethnic” community, then I would expect her to assimilate and learn how they do shit in Harlem, just like how I would expect someone from Harlem to emulate his new neighbors if they moved to a large white suburb.

In high school, and all of a sudden it was on every TV that any teacher could get ahold of. I was like “wait wtf”, and our English teacher was like “Guys...this is just ridiculously unprecedented. You might not know this, but this is going to change a LOT of things about the world.”

I “stayed on your couch” since first voting in 2004 if you’re curious. I fully support workers rights, unions, etc, even still. I also support some measure of government spending, just depends on what you’re spending it on. Military, infrastructure, etc are ok, but we’re getting way too out of hand on social
