Stephen, I want to point out I think you made a typo in this comment. You misspelled the shit out of F-Zero. Figured I should give you a heads up, bro.

Dude I just want to play Zelda at work while I’m supposed to be being productive!

Appreciate the response to Jman, Stephen. I’ve been about as dissenting as you’ll get, and thus far you guys have always been pretty tolerant of it, even during times I’ve been obviously out of line. I obviously don’t always agree with you guys on everything, but I enjoy the site for the most part.

Since I probably annoyed you guys enough with political stuff on that one question thread, I’ll ask a real gaming question!

By that definition though, Richard Spencer isn’t a Nazi, at least ostensibly. He publicly advocates not for genocide, but for some sort of “peaceful removal” of non-white from the United States. Obviously Gita, you and I both know that’s such an unrealistic scenario it would never happen without actual violence.

But

The rub lies within “who gets labeled as a Nazi, IMO”. A lot of people confuse patriotism with nationalism, and this leads to a bunch of BS wherein people who are not neo-Nazis (typically just regular conservatives) getting punched.

I would prefer if people just didn’t punch other people, and instead used their words

I would agree. GameStop’s Circle of Life bullshit is toxic to their employees, and in turn toxic to the customer. I wouldn’t have known diddly about it if I hadn’t read your article(s).

Man, this makes me feel bad. I rarely go into GameStops nowadays, but if I am out near one, and there is a game I was already planning on buying, I’ll nip in, grab it, and go. No pre-orders, rarely used, turn down the pro membership, etc.

Yet another person who thinks we can save everyone. For every “good” person we take out of a shitty country, that’s one less good person that can potentially use their innate talents to make that country a better place.

Jesus. I feel sorry for the kids you “teach”. Try teaching something that matters and actually has the ability to improve lives.

So, since when did it become totally ok to offend white people by literally assuming something about them (that they have this innate “privilege”) and make fun of it?

Even though I’m pretty sure you should have heard all this before, it entirely stems from a joke made by Yahtzee in his video series Zero Punctuation on the Escapist, where he pokes fun at all the people who think “PC MASTER RACE” is the greatest and shun all the “dirty console peasants”. Naturally, PC gamers ran

www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace

This is a free fan game. They’re not going to pay console manufacturer fees.

Oh don’t bullshit me. England, Canada, et al aren’t fucking countries in civil war or with known terror cells that actively control large tracts of land.

I mean...yeah, I know that Durham Country was overwhelmingly pro-HRC this past election, there were still thousands of Trump voters in the area. Given how white this company appears to be, and DJTs typical voter demographics, it wouldn’t shock me if many of them were in this video.

I just feel there are smarter and less demeaning ways of handling this situation.

IMO just because we haven’t had any terror attacks by people from this country in the past is no reassurance it will not happen in the future. For some of these countries, they are embroiled in civil wars, fighting with ISIS or other terrorist/rebel groups.

Or, they can think, “Wait just a minute, we won the election!” and realize that just because they live in an ultra liberal bastion inside NC (the Triangle) it doesn’t mean that everyone, everywhere hates DJT.

No True Irishman, huh?
