“we have to get rid of Trump” sounds a lot like a threat, tbh.

As a Chiefs fan, I hope KC grabs him up.
You *do* know that it’s a lot easier to keep tabs on illegals who are documented coming into the country via an airport, who then conveniently just forget to leave, as opposed to illegals shuttled in by truck across a desolate stretch of border, right?
See, this is why many Midwesterners think that a lot of coastal liberals are completely out of touch. Midwestern people have the internet, people. They’ve had it for quite some time, and they know who the hell Elizabeth Warren is.
Really? IMO its pretty good. Maybe its just people blowing through it way too quick. I’m 30 hours in and I’m still on Chapter 7 of 15 lol.
Unpopular opinion puffin here: I personally don’t think that Joe Mixon was really at fault. I am a complete feminist, and the young lady struck him first, thereby opening herself up to attack. Equality has to go both ways, honestly.
I honestly think it depends on the tone of the piece, the headline, and who writes it. Hell, look at this article. There’s a joke about seppuku by way of menu, by the same author who said suicide is too grim.
Not saying you have to seek out things that make you feel bad, especially if the wound is fresh, but, seriously, normal people can watch or read a great tragic work of art, one that reeeeeally tugs at the ol’ heartstrings, and while in the moment, yes, it is terribly sad, sad that the two star-crossed lovers both…
By all means, people can feel upset at fiction, but that’s no excuse to not write compelling, tragic fiction. Hell, that’s kind of the point, but my original comment was about this particular Kotaku author not even wanting to compile a LIST, because it was too grim.
Any piece of fiction can cause the stirrings of feelings in your heart, but if you’re actively avoiding a topic because it might make you feel sad, then you’re somethin’ special.
Yep, I wear black every day, cut my wrists sometimes, and I listen to Linkin Park because they’re the only ones that can understand JUST HOW MAD I GET AT MOM AND DAD
Hi. I was raped when I was a child by an older female cousin. My girlfriend struggles with depression. I have an uncle who killed himself rather than go to prison. And my mom died of cancer when I was 16. Unimpacted, my ass.
To pansies that can’t separate fiction from real life
Sigh. I can tell you understand my point, but you choose to dwell on the pedantic shit. My point, stated clearly, is that digital suicide isn’t grim, much the same as digital rape isn’t illegal...because it’s not real. It’s make-believe.
Saying digital suicide is grim is like saying digital rape is illegal. And, naturally, by digital I don’t mean a Brock Turner special lol
Patricia
Digital suicide is grim? Really?
Fairly redundant.
Hey, dunno if anyone else corrected you on it or not, but Penny was marriagable from the get-go in Stardew Valley. The added character was Emily, who happens to be the big sister of another marriage candidate, Haley.
I think they wanted an excuse to get the empire military dropping ships on yo head right around the time you really start getting into the open world, just to up the potential encounter rate a bit, is my guess.
