Or Serena is genetically advantaged (See e.g., Venus ), doesn’t deal well with strangers invading her space, and had a TEU for a valid medical purpose.

I mean, that explains the official’s pissy authoritarian attitude at her house, and why Serena is rightfully angry (and has been for a long time!), but I can’t imagine a regulatory compliance team putting that into a protocol?
I don’t think anyone actually suspects Serena of doping — i’d guess this is more along the lines of a pissed-off inspector trying to show a player that he’s in charge. Her PR statement makes it seem like an ongoing discussion they’ve had with the tour in the past.
I guess a more interesting question is why serena and the regulatory folks chose to make this an issue now, I feel like we’ve been hearing similar complaints for years and by all public accounts this was sort of a non-event.
Serena’s absurd stats, age, victories following injury, etc. might trigger tests in a regulatory algorithm or flowchart used to determine testing schedules. Add in an overzealous official, serena’s testiness, and frustration with other bullshit medical stuff on tour re: seeding and this doesn’t seem too nefarious to…
Postnasal drip is sort of a neck pain, i guess?
Sounds about right for Uber’s PR team if we’re being honest?
Sounds like “facilitated contact,” here means “called a capitol police liaison and told them that that our intern staffer would absolutely not be sitting for an interview with investigators.”
“Given the pre-conceived notion many people have about what queso is (and isn’t), we knew there would be some who didn’t like it based on the simple fact that ours is different...” - also an actual chipotle exec, 2017.
So instead of announcing underwhelming punishments and then getting blindsided when bad facts surface, the league office now leaks ‘proposed’ suspensions with the caveat that they’ll change when more victims emerge, a tape becomes public, etc.
maybe this guy was looking for a Filipino bbq place and it was a compliment?
bunch of morons talking loudly about poorly-done roasts, sounds like Texas bbq in general smdh
I, for one, am glad that the USMNT took a stand and boycotted this corrupt, dehumanizing spectacle.
Manly should sue this jackass for defamation.
Nah. If so, they’d lobby for wiser spending policies instead of targeted tax breaks?
Nadal players can contain their emotions so well!
Kyrie’s happy he won’t have to live near the edge anymore, and the city of Cleveland has a new tourism promotion so everyone wins.
So tacky! this nouveau riche grifting must just enrage Betsy deVos during Cabinet meetings.
[Yankees exec on a call, scribbling notes furiously]
In Lee’s defense, he thought going to the Combine to workshop new lines was just part of the job.
