Boardwalk Empire using a Brian Jonestown Massacre song needs to be in the honorable mention category. I was blown away that people were aware of them, let alone using one of their songs for an HBO intro.

The show is piping hot trash, but the Entourage theme is a pretty good Jane’s Addiction song.

I have to admit I liked the Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul intros. They both are appropriate for the show and very short so you got right to the action.
