So I worked in a preschool and something the 2 year old classroom used to deal with was moms referring to favorite teachers as their 2 year old son’s “girlfriend”. Like “oh there’s your girlfriend” jokes about crushes etc. My theory was that this was how they made their insecurity at having their baby’s love for

My Mom had all girls and “boy moms” used to annoy her so much. They all seemed to assume that being loud, messy, and roughhousing was something only boys did. She would frequently point out that my sisters and I did all of those things (especially the story where my middle sister and I were fighting and fell onto the

I read the art of racing in the rain years ago, when I had a sick dog. I cried from page 5 on, like uncontrollable sobbing for the five hours it took me to the read the book. I do not think this movies will do the book Justice. But either way, I don’t think I can see it, at least not in public.

I also liked Otis (AKA Pusuke) in Milo & Otis (AKA Koneko Monogatari)

BEST movie/TV show dogs EVER =

“Fluke" absolutely needs a spot on this list! I can't remember if Matt Modine monologues him the whole movie, but explaining that not only is reincarnation order human to dog, but also that said fog tries to find his past life killer, never fails to bring me happiness. Also, while it's been a long time since my sister

Honorary mention of Milo and Otis?

We zip in, we pick ‘em up, we zip right out again. We’re not going to Moscow. It’s Czechoslovakia. It’s like we’re going into Wisconsin.

I got a new kitty! Picked him up from the shelter and he was very sick. Trying to nurse him back to health. He’s the SWEETEST fucking cat I’ve ever seen.

We finally had a nice summer day, in the mid 70s with a strong breeze, low humidity, so I did some gardening in the morning, and I made some cheddar jalapeno corn bread for our dinner tomorrow. We’re going to smoke some ribs, and have broccoli salad, and some dilly green beans and cucumbers (from the garden!) and the

It's all gone downhill since the EM-50.

One more story about tracking kids- my close friend and neighbor is adamant about tracking her kids and their every move online. I don’t do this AT ALL and she warned me that my kids were in danger because of it. My kids tell me everything and are super responsible so I respectfully disagreed with her.

Redoing the interior of an RV is more challenging than redoing a house, so a lot of DIYers don’t do it. It’s kind of like redoing a boat interior. You have to consider/accommodate factors you don’t have to deal with in a house.

We need more full body murals:

Fair enough- but this hypervigilant-super-parent is an absolute myth. We simply cannot prevent anythinh bad from ever happening to our kids. Because then nothing good will ever happen either...Finding Nemo wisdom.

While you’re absolutely correct that this is abusing technology to stalk kids, I can, to an extent, understand and forgive modern parents.

As a mom of teens who does not track/stalk/control and prefers good old fashioned conversation and in-person eyerolls, there’s a generation of kids with crazy parents abusing technology to creep on their own kids. The kids will outsmart you and technology.

We have 3 high energy dogs (pointer rescues) and they require substantial exercise and stimulation to be good dogs. They also think they are people and most definitely do not perform on cue. But we don't video them for attention and 'likes'. Because we are not assholes.

Gross.

Dont forget to add brown people to that list in the yes column.
