My friends who had kids in their 20s were very jealous of those of us who partied and traveled through those years while they were home with the little ones and basically no money.

Not at all! I am a hobby farmer and work in healthcare. Just ate the most beautiful sunburst tomatoes and blackberries from my garden! I am speaking from personal experience about farting from sugar alcohols added to processed food.

“Came from a good family” seems like an aggravating circumstance, not a mitigating one.  If you grew up suffering sexual abuse in an orphanage and then commit a sex crime, I can see a judge taking that into account.  If you grew up in a “good family” with all possible advantages, what’s your excuse? 

My daughter got paid 10 dollars an hour to “babysit” a 10 and 11 year old this summer. They sat around and played video games all day. I told her this was the easiest money she was ever going to make and that the rest of life was not going to go this way.

Also I hope they tip the shit out of her at the end of the summer, simply from saving all of their possessions. 

She is a boss at it though sounds like! 

Worth every penny.
