Oh please. She spends sacksfull of money every day on her skin, her hair, her butt, her nose, her lips, her cheekbones, etc etc. (everything but her brain). She doesn’t smile cuz she freakin CAN’T after all the procedures.

It’s also quite possible that, after all the work she’s already had done, she just CAN’T smile.
If someone with a bajillion dollars can’t afford good enough skin care to stave off wrinkles and still smile, not a single one of us normal folk can. And we, quite often, have a lot less to smile about.
I really hate when people miscategorize mistreatment as “being tough”. I’m so glad you told them to quite. It’s so easy to convince yourself that it is just what you need to deal with. Doesn’t matter if you boss is a man or woman, it’s unacceptable.
I really hope she uses this exposure to improve. This is not a good display of character and character usually matters in MN elections. I have voted for her in every election, but this is fucking disappointing.
Former Hill staffer here. I never worked for Amy, but I did counsel a handful of young women who did.
Throwing things in a professional setting is b.s. I have called out employees who did the exact same thing (threw something, didn’t aim it at someone, but it hit them anyway) at my place of work.
Was wondering that myself. I suffered from fairly catastrophic PPD - so bad that I have since been diagnosed with PTSD stemming from almost dying during birth and the trauma of the scope of the PPD.
I am close friends with a single dad that got full custody of his daughter when she was 3 months old. His daughter is my almost 16 year-old daughter’s best friend. This young lady is an incredible human being! He has done an amazing job.
I remember reading an opinion piece from a mom who decided to give full custody of her kids to her ex and her thought process behind it. It was a really long time ago, and I remember feeling like it made a lot of sense and came from a good place, something like she felt like her job was too chaotic and she just knew…
I was thinking that, too. That’s also what I think brought on Britney’s breakdown.
I wonder if Hayden Panettiere’s situation stems, at least in part, from the severe postpartum depression she suffered after the birth of her daughter. Mood disorders can put a strain on relationships, as well as bonding with a child. Hers went on for a protracted length of time. Maybe it brought more mental health…
By the time I was 16, I’d endured years of: misogynistic tirades from my father who called me a prostitute when I was in second grade (learned a new word that day!); ongoing paranoia from both my parents that I’d have sex despite not knowing what sex was at the time (lower elementary school); bullying at school from…
This is awful! One of our dogs last week(we have 3 rescues) was puking for 2 days straight and went completely lame and we had to rush him to the vet. I honestly thought he was going to die. He has Lymes Disease. His girl never left his side. Happy to report he made a full recovery and is back to destroying toys and hu…
Love love your cat updates. I think you’re such a good person. I always look for your post. Hope your son is doing ok. Big hugs
Oh Andy NO!!!! I’m so sorry babe. Any chance it’s an aggressive food poisoning? I had food poisoning caused by Bacillus cereus (which honestly sounds like a Harry Potter character or spell) last year and couldn’t eat solid food for nearly a month without violent vomiting. It comes from a bacteria that is dormant in…
I have interviews coming up this week! I’m super nervous. They are all great places and I would love to work at any of them— but one is clearly my top choice. I am excited and nervous and trying to keep it together. But AHHH! I am awkward and I struggle to come of as personable in interviews. I want to be charming,…
It is hard!
