Honestly, my husband is probably more of a feminist than I am, and I’m pretty hardcore. It’s not forced either; it just comes naturally to him to treat women as equals in all aspects of life. Every day I ask myself what the fuck I did to deserve such a wonderful partner.

Well I’ve never posted on SNS before but: I have just finished my first month post-divorce. I can’t really call it that because we had a wedding but no legal marriage, and really I wish there was a non-goopy term close to ‘conscious uncoupling’ because I’m proud to say its closer to the truth.

I work in a social work department. One of my social worker colleagues had a text from one of his service users the other day. The text said “do you want to get together later for anal and then I’ll return the favour?” Then there were loads of texts saying “that wasn’t meant for you.”

If a woman had behaved the way Belligerent Brett behaved yesterday she would be finished. That’s why like Dr. Ford, we’re all trained to be “nice ladies” who have to accommodate, demure and smile through all the horse shit thrown at us. 

I had no idea there were specific pet chicken breeds. Chickens liking being petted is just such an alien concept for me. 

The picture of your chickens just cheered me up so much. I thought about having chickens, but I live in the desert and there is a pack of coyotes that live very near me, so eventually if they could not get the chickens I would probably see an Acme truck come by to deliver roller skates and a rocket for them to get any…

Okay, this is neither here nor there, but one chicken book I read referred to Buff Orpington’s as the “Scarlett Johanssons of the chicken world.”  So now, when I see ScarJo, I think about fluffy chickens.
