As a licensed USSF ref for 20 years, I can confirm this statement. I tell my assistants before every game “we’re always wrong, we don’t know what we’re doing, but I have the whistle so I’m the only right one here.”

Ah yes, the newsletter which merely sends you all the articles you logon here to read. So <sarcasm>helpful</sarcasm>.
Agreed. The Emmitt bit has become more and more obscure. It’s funny to read a play on words, it’s not fun to repeat it over and over because you have zero idea what the author was thinking. I usually skip it anymore. Used to be funny; now, not so much.
I can’t even make heads or tails of this comment to reply or agree... or disagree... or whatever.
I thought that was the hormone that helped you sleep.
JJ Watt would have have played regardless of the weather.
This comment is grossly under-appreciated.
“They weren’t flooding in his area...” Who is the “they” that was flooding in his area? And “the water that was a little high...” So now you guys have pot smoking water in Texas? Guessing you should pre-read your post before you hit “publish”.
*you’re
The way I read this thread... you lost or gave up at least on the argument to the other two guys and instead started arguing with your only supporter, a fellow Philly fan. You are the epitome of Philly fans. Hahaha
Typical losing fan comment. In reality, the Penguins have been out hitting the Blues every year since 2008... sometimes by hundreds of more hits over a season. A losing fan always sees the other team as more thugish.
Is it just me or did the illustrator flip the feet on the main image?
I tried. I really, really tried to read this article but I can’t. If you can’t hook your audience and make your point identifiable in the first paragraph, then you need to revise it. I read two paragraphs and I have zero idea what your point is.
Thanks. I’m at work and definitely can not watch these videos.
I solved that dilemma long ago but using my ears. You can tell when a ball has been kicked by the sound so I always cheat my vision towards the offside line.
Cheaper to keep ‘er
Oh good, just like the water shots... no commentary telling me what each picture is showing me.
Zero idea what I’m looking at besides the picture with the tires. Some comments and/or arrows pointing out what I’m supposed to be seeing would be nice. If I didn’t know these were about awful water conditions in Rio, I would assume some are shots of beautiful ocean life, corral, etc.
Technically, he stood and swiped before dropping a Brown because see.. the Brown dropped after... the swipe... I got nothing.
The issue I have here is that this isn’t a PK. In the moment, it looks like a PK, but the foul happens outside the box. The fact that the attacker’s momentum carries him into the box doesn’t make it a PK. The infringement is judged where it happens and not where the players stop or land. That said, without replay, no…
