Holy shit! TV’s Michael Gray? Billy Batson? Seriously, no one!

Did those CG little aliens remind you of anyone?
Just wanted to say thanks for doing a good job. Your description was well-written and blew the hell out of the others I read.
Right? I guess/hope maybe in the next one.
I came for the shot of the in-unison red ball bouncing in the suburb. Was not dissapointed.
Like this one?
I love the original because I love the Fantastic Four, and it’s the only good Fantastic Four movie ever made.
For all the people who hate on the Fantastic Four and say that the idea of a family team will NEVER work on film, the previous Incredibles
This is how I remember it:
If I came across this, my world view would have immediately shifted as I accepted the existence of elder gods opening portals to our dimension and passing through on a regular basis, leaving behind inhuman nightmare-produced destruction in their wake, damaging every mortal soul that sees it.
Plot-wise, the 7 movies so far make far more sense that R2 is a Jedi. Without his actions, nothing would ever have happened. The mai characters would never have met. Luke wouldn’t be a Jedi. R2D2 is the lynchpin that brings all of the characters and important events together. He brings Leia’s mesage to Luke, leads…
The wildfire v. dragonfire poses an interesting future plot point: how does Cersei bring the city to her cause and make Dany with her dragons look like a murdering liar? Burning a small part of the city with wildfire, taking out people that impede her power (or that she just doesn’t like) in the process, and blaming…
I think that’s why they don’t mention it. I doubt they’ll address it in-universe. Marvel won’t “say” anything.
It’s important that these be pointed out as results of textual criticism/analysis. These stories were told and then written long ago, then they have been recopied (while others were not) by editors, and those texts went on to be passed into that same system, and that repeated until modern history.
The hat the First Doctor wears is called a “karakul”. I only point this out because I fell down a hat-based rabbit hole a couple years ago trying to figure out where I could find one for Cosplay. Here’s a thorough (and interesting) link that covers the myriad of hats The Doctors have worn: The Many Doctors’ Hats.
Do you not know the word for this? Literally? Hint: the definition of a wrestler (originally any carnival worker, c. 1800's) staying in character not just in front of the audience but also outside in other public spaces.
Completely hiding the Fantastic Four (Reed, Sue, Val, and Franklin) and having The Thing and The Human Torch make spurratic, very peripheral appearances is an incredibly shrewd business move by a large multi-media empire.
Or Hickman’s run. It’s so “unpopular” and “awful” that to buy the first half of it at this very moment in book form is worth $320. Top shelf. After running “FF” and “Fantastic Four” for a couple years, Marvel gave Hickman all of the Avengers books for a couple years, as well as a couple years of the “event book”. It…
Aren’t Fox and Sony more like Dad and Step-Dad? (Depending on your own experiences.)
