Absolutely. There was closure on that topic on the Mythbusters retrospective round table episode. The build team came back and sat round table with Jamie and Adam and discussed these things. For any invested fan, it’s worth finding and watching if for nothing else than closure.

Possibly the most dangerous salute in modern American patriotism. In chin we trust.

I think maaaaybe fire bathes everything into a “new”? I don’t know. Heidegger said it much better.

Ria, thank you again for writing a solid science article. Please keep them coming. You’re one of my (and many others’) favorite true science writers. You elevate the Giz and io9 sites with your pieces. Keep up the great work.

Radishes? I was lied to about Mars food.

Nah, if you repeat it three times, Negan just appears behind you in the mirror and kills someone with Lucille. You still aren’t sure whom he kills, even though you’re the only one in there.

Thanks! I also love spending time in the comments section to read the often fascinating posts. The comments section on io9 is usually a constructive hotbed of discussion and thoughts, and that’s why I always come back around to the site: to read people’s well thought out posts, just like you.

I appreciate you being cheerful about it! I took the time I had to recap (to include quotes), then I to publish it before I had a hellish long day. So than you and your kindness and thoughtfulness!

You are correct. My math was wrong. I realized it 15 minutes too late, and I couldn’t change it. I plan to change it in the ODeck version asap.

That’s fair enough. Name some others television directors, maybe? I always love to learn more.

See up/down thread, please

Already agreed. My mistake. See other comments to confirm please. No need to repeat it, but thank you since you hadn’t seen that.

That is a smart observation. And I can’t disagree with you. Well said!

Agreed, it was an error, and I put that in the comments.

Well said. Jack Bender is an amazing television director and has been for 15 years. He’s one of my favorites, and the last couple episodes he has absolutely crushed it. (I mean, Hodor, right? And Bran’s flashbacks?) He is the most talented TV director in the last decade, IMO.

I have to agree. It was like a real modern brother-sister relationship to me. It resounded. Until this episode, I couldn’t have cared less about Yara. But here, wow, she staged a one-person intervention. And she helped bring back Theon’s self-worth. It was a fantastic job by the actors and the writers.

Thank you! I appreciate that. I do my best to start conversations about the show that lead to even more interesting conversations.

Artiofab pointed out this exact error. You are correct. I was not correct. I missed that fact in the news cycle and the rush. Thank you! I would change it if I could, and I will change it on the linked page as soon as I get a chance.
