Thanks. I just read the technical documentation as well and it assumes a lot of optimum lowest cost scenarios.

Chicagoan here. Robert, if you want a big, shitty slice of pizza, I’ll take you to plenty of places in this city that serve them. You can even eat them in one of our fine alleys here, so you can be surrounded by garbage and pretend like you’re back on the streets of New York!

That’s not at issue. The issue is cancelling the series while tossing out a disingenuous “aw, jeez, we’re really sorry, minority viewers, but what can you do? 🤷” tweet.

I want tomato on my sandwiches. Even a mediocre tomato improves a sandwich.

There’s a load of comments on the BBC, saying John Terry would have had a word in Kepa’s ear and sorted it all out. Personally, I think he’d have had fifteen words…

Thats the wrong call. Whiskey that needs “help” won’t make a good old fashioned.

Um, I think it’s amazing that Miley Cyrus is able to look past Liam Hemsworth’s conventional ugliness and fall in love with his beautiful soul. On a spiritual, post-gender level.

He worked out the terms of payment before the tournament?  Don’t want $5k for a top-10 finish?  Don’t caddy for him.  Jesus Christ between this and the fucking Anthony Davis saga - don’t contracts mean anything to you people!

In the words of Austin “Danger” Powers…

This makes me think of when Ellen said she was happy that rumors we’re going around that sh and Portia were getting divorced because it made her realize they were being treated as just another couple instead of as a lesbian couple.

“We can’t be racist; some of our best investors are minorities. But only one of each, and yes, we keep count.”

That’s because it’s not true. The idea that we have Gino’s, Lou Malnati’s and Giordano’s popping up all over the city, and that somehow no one in Chicago is ordering deep dish from these places, is insane. Hell, my office frequently orders deep dish for the entire (Chicago-based) company, and surprisingly no one says

next week, direct snap to Hicks

Not sure I agree with this. This would be true if you fronted all of the money for all 7 books up front on the promise that you were getting 7 books. That’s not the case here. You’re paying for one book at a time, with the implicit knowledge that the series could fail to be finished for any NUMBER of reasons.  Any

Absolute Moo-nit

“Plenty of parking” my left nut. I can’t think of any Chicago neighborhood where there is enough room for the residents cars plus 38 more.

“oh, this article is written by someone who owns a butcher shop and works with meat professionally. let me tell them how they are wrong and i, random internet man, are correct.”-you

The article was better, before Dysnomia’s poorly-written comment came along and tried to drag people back to a state of confusion. If users can be downgraded to “the grays”, this comment about “high heat buttered” “thongs” seems to deserve such a result.

And these columns NEVER answer the question of what is expected, they just accuse people of being cheap for even asking. This in turn makes people (somewhat understandably) feel the entire system sucks.

“How can I ask literally any question about tipping at all without being called an asshole capitalist cheapskate swine unless my defaul tip is ‘turn over my wallet and dump literally everything I have onto the table uncomplainingly.’”
