Wow. Really?
Wow. Really?
Is that the case? I was under the impression that here, people though of them as either on the top end of “plebe brands” if not outright entry-level luxury on the higher trim level kinda like an Audi-lite.
Give me a flying car that is as reliable, as easy to fly, as easy to maintain, and as easy to park, pack, and fit on the road as a normal car and we will talk.
Why do you say ‘despite’? There’s a pandemic going on, it’s not like people are going out and walking around or going to movies in theaters much or going to stores. People in general are staying at home. Which means in-home entertainment. Which means stuff like videos on demand and, yes, video games. And when they’re…
These people are just living a perfectly acceptable “commune” lifestyle. I’m sure they don’t believe in the validity of privately owned property**! It’s their choice and you shouldn’t criticize it!
Yeah the old, “It’s insured” line always makes me fume. Do people not have the first clue about how insurance works? It’s not the lottery. It’s not the tooth fairy.
“Yea, It would be a bit different if things like food and hygiene supplies were stolen...”. So, just so i’m clear, law enforcement should be situational like here’s a list of things that are morally (who’s morals?) OK to steal, but here’s a list that aren’t. Yes, judges do have the ability to factor in mitigating…
“Because you continue to disagree with me, you must not have been intelligent enough to understand my argument. Because if you were, you wouldn’t continue to disagree with me.”
Yes, I’m sure companies have a long history of eating additional costs rather than passing them on.
I’d like to know what kind of home security system you have, and if you’d blame yourself if someone was able to defeat it.
Who do you think pays for the insurance or Amazon’s costs in the long run? Why is damaging a train car less objectionable than damaging someone’s front door?
Did you even read the article?
I love the screenshot of Gizmodo telling on itself with the crazy amount of RAM the site and its sisters use. It’s all the revenue-generation. One the one hand, fuck you Gizmodo. On the other hand, I know you need to stay in business and I’m not ready to let go of your zombified corpse yet.
I got all mad at first as I was reading the article, but then I realized that’s just what the authors want. It gets people yelling at each other in the comments, and that keeps them coming back, earning those sweet sweet clicks. Nobody actually believes this drivel. (And yet, here I am still falling into the trap)
Connie, Are you really Erin?
So that excuses stealing?
I wonder if Erin would be quite as cool with stealing if thieves broke into her home and took her stuff. The thought experiment can assume that these thieves are “suffering from income inequality” or are “desperate”. Perhaps “shit has even been real” lately for them?
“Now, every outlet is calling these folks thieves, and sure, that’s technically correct.”
I used regular old THC for almost 20 years before switching to alternatives. I don’t remotely understand why anyone would have a problem with having more choices, or why anyone would have a problem with people who are afraid of being bothered by law enforcement, or why anyone would have a problem with people who find…
