They invented Tesla panel gaps???
<We have a parts washer that uses aqueous solutions, though they need to be heated to keep from foaming.>
Are you using 4-in-1?
Oh, god. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had similar calls. Our solvents have a unique odor. We had a batch where the blender screwed up and didn’t put enough in. Chemically, it was identical to the normal solvent and cleaned perfectly. However, about half the customers who got that batch swore it didn’t clean…
Dawn and Magic Eraser are witchcraft.
<For the FSD pedestrian-hunting video>
Sure. Retail, I’d look at Simple Green (pretty neutral) or Zep Purple (not neutral pH but works well at room temperature and is better IMO than SG but be careful of aluminum). Always read SDSs before heating, though. And check material compatibility, especially for aluminum, copper, titanium, and the like. If you want…
Keep in mind that the use with hot water tends to be a one-time go, so degradation isn’t too important. For our stuff that’s designed for immersion tanks, we have to pay attention to it. But SG (not my company, but I know them) works well at lower temperatures, so I’m not sure you gain a ton with heating.
< It is how the fuck up is handled, and this one was handled super poorly.>
Just check the SDS for any vapor issues before heating. Some stuff throws off nasty fumes when heated. I know SG is in the 105F camp (I sell both 105 and 180 rated fluids, the former for manual cleaning), but they claim it’s for fluid longevity reasons.
<you wouldnt utilize water in a parts washer. It uses a recirculating pump to run the solvent through the cleaning brush>
*PLEASE* do not buy these solvent units for home use. Proper disposal is not easy if you don’t have a waste hauler (dumping down the drain causes major contamination issues). With a 105F flash or lower on many common hardware store solvents, safety can be a concern. Many are reclaimed mixed solvents (virgin solvents…
There are good options. New generations of water-based cleaners have pretty neutral pH and work decently at room temperature (or at most 105F).
Yeah, CARB and OTC rules come into play. Some can be avoided by using high-flash (141) solvents, but aqueous works fine for most applications.
Just FYI, my company makes these (and other styles). We welcome wrenchers in Chicago to use the ones in our testing lab. We’ve got immersion, high pressure, low pressure, and sonics that we run customer tests in.
How about Dale Earnhardt mocking people for wearing HANS devices?
Ah. I don’t do online gaming much (I gave up after Call of Duty, etc. were overrun with cheaters), but I was used to games with separate progression trees.
That’s not a satellite dish. That’s a left lane detection system.
Sorry, I can’t see the pendings to respond.
Someone’s a bit sensitive. He’s stating his preference. iRacing is popular for a good reason.
