Same here, was sweating a 2018 RS hard for a while (rented one on Turo and even rented one on the Nurburgring through RSR) but as a daily driver it just wouldn’t work with the ride and ergonomics. Rented a CTR in LA for a weekend and it was excellent...except for the styling. I wish Honda would stop trying to convince us non-20's demographic that the shredder helmet styling and red seats are acceptable for an adult professional to pull up to work in.

Finally Turo’d a CTR in the LA canyons a couple weekends ago and it’s a very good car...good power, great gearbox, great brakes, and the ride doesn’t kill you like a Focus RS. However as good as it drove this 35 year old couldn’t get past the outrageous styling to own one.
