Actually Sanders refuses to categorize himself as a career politician despite FORTY ONE YEARS as a POLITICIAN. Ummm, so yes. It has a lot to do with Sanders and his position as “anti-establishment” and ridiculing Clinton for considering herself in the same manner.

Nah. My mom still gets me Valentine candy, a Christmas stocking and an Easter basket. In her mind, 41 or 7, I'm her first baby. (She gets stuff for my dumb brothers too, but that's just so they don't feel left out or something... I'm still the golden child...)

Yep. My parents & grandparents always got us a little something (usually candy) and I do for my kids. my grandpa took us each on “dates” too so he could get to know his grandchildren as actual people and not just adorable moppets too. Those were some of my all time favorite times as a kid.
