I always feel a little dirty when I accidentally trigger one, and I feel even worse when it happens to win a round.

Wait, so you're telling me my controller isn't broken? Well, crap...
I agree the standard dungeon tiles, along with my playing of games well into the wee hours of the morning, coupled with those piano chords in the background music (I love how it changes depending on what block you're in) make it too easy to nod off while playing.
The image on the back depicting the Autobots and the Decepticons fighting in space makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside.
I can personally attest to falling asleep while playing Persona 3 Portable. I'll be going up and up into Tatarus, only to open my eyes and I'm spinning the camera in place.
It might be one of the fake display boxes that are used outside of a game store or in the display sections. You ever pick up one of those things? They must use the cheapest black plastic to make those DVD cases.
Also, LG stands for "Lucky Goldstar". [en.wikipedia.org]
Speaking of Gundam, they did in fact make a "live-action" movie: G-Saviour.
I, and when I say "I" should correct that to be "my two younger brothers and I", used to own about 50+ NES games dating from the launch of the system to a few of the later year gems (Kirby). The reason I say we used to own about 50+ games is because in day I got rid of every single game in one day by trading them in…
Isn't the cake making a statement on how barbaric female circumcision is and how its continued practice in some African cultures makes them seem like the ridiculous cultural stereotype of blackface natives stems from? At least that's what I'm reading into it. It could very well just be a bunch of folks being really…
When the PSP-1000 was new-ish, I tried to be a cool big brother and bought my youngest brother a used one for his birthday. He was happy, and kept it for a while, buying a few games here and there. About a month ago he decided to give it back to me, saying that with his job and other things he doesn't quite have the…
This isn't an entirely new or Japanese idea.
I was just thinking about this too. I have to say though, the numbering confusion gets even more ridiculous when we start talking about the Gameboy Advance games.
Virtual-On was great, but we never had a Last Bronx unit in any of the arcades around here. Looked interesting, for sure.
It probably doesn't help that in Japan, Dark is listed as Evil.
Then again, trying to attribute actual programming to the nature of The Grid seems like a slippery slope, considering how loosely the whole idea of architecture is actually applied to things. It's kind of how you just have to give a pass to the show Reboot because they're using actual terms, but not without making…
I like when things like this happen. It reminds me of when they went and got the entire original English-voice cast from LUNAR for the PS1 remake (Someone please feel free to fact check that for me.)
I thought he looked like he'd filled in a bit. Also, doesn't just about any video game character out of the context of their respective game look like an idiot?
I wish I could've gotten the chance to play more Fighting Vipers. I really liked the armor system because it not only gave you a reason to develop a specific strategy like targeting a particular part of your opponent, but it also gave you an offensive option to all at once ditch your armor in lieu of a boost in…
You should try one of what I'll refer to here as a "God Mode Difficulty WTF IS THIS?" Takashi Miike film: Visitor Q. (Clip included is NSFW.)
