Man, I've been pointing parents to that site for just about as long as it's existed. I hope that something else will step up and fill the void, because non-gamer parents need a proper source of information on video games that is NOT the mainstream media.

I want you to be right, so badly.

This was a great idea for an article. Considering how many contemporary intellectual properties are seeing remakes, relaunches, and updates it's interesting to consider the additional elements that go beyond the obvious.

A friend of mine pointed out that now that there's a fighting game character who throws papers (Phoenix Wright) and one that throws rocks (Cody) there really should be a character that throws scissors in the next year or so.

If you manage to get your hands on one, before you tear the shrink wrap off, look at the paper insert on the back. Specifically, look at what it says regarding "Side Quests". You may chuckle a little at what you read.

I guess it'd be a lot to ask if you could play the entire game done up in the 3D animated styles. Still be neat though. Also, a quick Google has a couple of image hits on what the Long Halloween skin will probably look like.

I could listen to him talk all day.

Based on the orientation, this may be the Wii Minus that was announced a while back for European territories. For those who don't remember, that was to be the Wii meant to be laid flat and didn't have Gamecube compatibility.

I've been wondering the same thing since the reveal.

I'd be really impressed if they manage to port it to the DS too.

They had me at "Story Mode" (and a 4-disc soundtrack is nice too).

All those secrets could be tended to if you assign a derivation of what's been called a "porn buddy". The idea of the "porn buddy" comes from the British show "Coupling" and essentially a "porn buddy" has the responsibility of going through your stuff after you've passed, but before your family can get at anything.

I know, it makes me wonder what's really in those boxes. Maybe some of them are actually good, decent games, but thanks to stuff like this they're doomed to be nothing more than tangible lies.

"If you have a head that looks super photorealistic but then the texture behind it is not, to me there's a discontinuity there. But if everything fits within the same stylistic language, it feels more credible. Anyway, that's one of my theories."

This is the situation where you walk into some place like a steak house and order fish.

Now playing

These guys have more or less showed this.

And in my fervor to beat the clock I updated...before setting the clock back. It's kind of silly that you had to go and be connected to the eShop before August 11, but after the announced the ambassador program. Oh, Nintendo...

Trolling?

Hawaii has a 4.177% General Excise Tax which is on EVERYTHING.

So, none of these titles qualify to be transferred to another system via that thing with the Pikmin? Isn't that supposed to handle transfers of DSiware and 3DSware?
