What is there to hate or like about her? She was some trampy waitress who hooked up with Don. According to her ex husband he wasn't the first guy she went tramping around with.

We don't need Jon Hamm to tell us because it's obvious who did the commercial if you paid attention to the episode.

He did create it. Those saying he didn't are just being purposely dimwitted and ignoring the context of the episode..and WHY? Why? Why do people have to fight so hard that Peggy did it? She did plenty.

It's not ambiguous. Don gets told he can come back and do coke. Don finds "peace" and "harmony" and all that. Cut to a coke commercial with people singing ABOUT THAT EXACT THING.
