Dang!!!! I admit, I’ve only played this game twice, it then got lost in a sea of new emails, and I have only gotten as far as getting one 8th Doctor each time. I am so envious of your one War Doctor! This is an extremely frustrating game, especially when you have one arrow button on your keyboard that is particularly

We could divide and concur.

Nice to see that I wasn’t the only one picking up on the Jason Voorhees vibe.

The Fifth Doctor also had, however briefly, Tegan, Nyssa, and Turlough (and equally briefly Tegan, Turlough, and Kamelion... canonically from Kings Demons through Planet of Fire, but he only appears in those two episodes due to technical problems and time constraints, according to the Tardis Wiki.) Also, the First

Thank you for posting that interview, it was really lovely. I still remember when I was still a newbie fan being given a copy of Tomb of the Cybermen (and finding out much later that part 2 of that story almost exactly coincided with when I was born.) It was also my first chance to see Victoria in action. I had been

You can find all 52 episodes of Blake’s 7 on YouTube, along with some behind the scene videos.

Depends on where he is in his personality arc. First season he needed Clara to be his carer, because he was going through his identity crisis (“Am I a good man?”) phase. He wasn’t able to be much emotional support for anyone because his emotions were a mess. Second season, or very end of season one, he started to

If I were to pick anyone on this poster it would be Figrin D’an band leader of the Modal Nodes, because who wouldn’t want to be an alien version of Benny Goodman.

Actually, humans using echolocation is not that implausible. There was a boy in Elk Grove, CA named Ben Underwood who lost his sight due to cancer when he was 3 years old and learned echolocation to move more freely. Here’s a newscast about him, sadly after he passed away at 16. He was, however, a remarkable young man.

And served in Vietnam. Saved Lt. Dan and then later help him rather than make fun of him.

I’m not sure about any more Big Finish references, but an image of Ablsom Daak: Dalek Killer, from the Doctor Who comics, showed up on the vid screen in Time Heist. So it’s not outside the realm of possibility that there could be a mention of Mary Shelley’s travels with the 8th Doctor.  I for one would be delighted if

“With all due respect to Pink Floyd, there is no “dark side” of the moon, as both sides experience days and nights.”

Oh my stars that is uncanny!

I agree about Darth Edna... and more to the point, she’s breaking her own rule about “NO CAPES!!!!!”

It’s the literary equivalent to Godot.

The season can’t start soon enough for me! They didn’t even give us a start date in the teaser. Hopefully there will be a proper date on whatever they show at ComicCon next week (I won’t be there, but it’ll be posted here shortly after they show it there.) Schedule allowing (and I’m hoping that it does) I’ll be at

There’s absolutely no shame in that! I’m 50 and I love loads of animated movies and shows that I should be too old for. You’re only as old as you feel! Enjoy!

I am officially a bit envious. Two geek parents (my mom barely tolerates anything sci fi. She supports my fandom, but sci fi/fantasy just isn’t her genre.) I was about 9 1/2 when ANH came out and my brother saw it before me and would not shut up about it. Shortly there after, my dad took me to see it and my

Now playing

Actually, the animation isn’t any worse than the animation of Power of the Daleks and anything is better than the Flash animation version I muddled through because they had Paul McGann, Lalla Ward and John Leeson as the voice cast (but the animation was so much clunkier than this is.) The Flash animated version is

“If he was mentioned then I clearly missed it, but I was surprised that Adric didn’t get a namecheck when the Doctor was listing reasons to destroy Cybermen.”
