So fine, refer to it as "Annie 2014". Calling it "Black Annie" is like saying it's not "really" Annie just because a few of the actors happen to be black.

What the hell are you attacking me for? I think it's great that there's a cast of color; I think it's ridiculous that people are supposedly referring to it as "Black Annie" instead of its actual title, which is just "Annie".

The reboot has been informally referred to as "Black Annie" because the lead actors are Quvenzhane Wallis and Jamie Foxx, as opposed to white actors in the original 1982 version.

Yeah I'm bitter. I deal with old people all the time.

I've also noticed the shift in the past couple of years. Gabe already had his own style, which I also thought was good and wasn't distracting from the subject matter. Now it looks like he's just aping John K's style.

I'm sorry alternatives didn't work for you.

If you're on SSRIs, and especially if your depression is accompanied by anxiety, you may want to ask your doctor if SNRIs (serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors) may be right for you. They have fewer/less-intense sexual side-effects.

I'm embarrassed to say I've been wondering the same thing. I wonder how much of this is the expectation that she should look like a hot 30-something. SATC was on when she was in her mid-to-late 30s, and she's 49 now.

I notice that the media nearly always frames the decline in marriages as a problem. But there were and are a lot of bad marriages... maybe some of those entanglements are not happening now?

Whelp, that image is never going away.

Aim higher.

I hope this can be of help:

If by "it" he meant himself, and by "fix" he meant in the sense of a dog getting "fixed", then sure, good plan.

Do I want to know? I don't think I want to know. In fact I think I don't want to know.

Gotta be British. When Canadians open their mouths, their heads flap. I learned that from South Park.

Yeah, call me clueless, but until this year I didn't know any of this stuff about Bill Cosby. I grew up watching the guy (both Fat Albert and the Cosby Show) and listening to his comedy. This whole revelation has been just... ugh.
