I am pretty sure that has been done to determine if pitchers “pitch to the score” and the conclusion was that they don’t. If a pitcher is going to give up 2 runs, he gives up 2 runs regardless of whether his team scores 1 or 15. I can’t find the research, but I found Dave Cameron calling it “baloney.”

if its that important to you maybe stay off the internet until you watch? its unreasonable to expect the whole world to stay quiet about popular things until mpescuma is ready to discuss it.
