Great piece!  Really informative.  Maybe a weird request, but I would love to see something about Targa tops and their history.  Love Porsche design.

The Supra was pretty legit.

Nice work, Deadspin.  You’ve fucked it all up.  If I wanted subversive attitude with no talent writing, I’d already be at Barstool.

What show is that?  Chris Gethard?

On the other hand, when your working with a psycho that’s sending out pig carcasses and blood condoms to coworkers, you try not to piss that guy off, right?

This seems like the most reasonable scenario to me.  Suicide Squad was aimed at 12 year olds.

My favorite was games like Dagger of Amon Ra, where if you didn’t pick up some random wire at the right time, you couldn’t possibly lock the door against the charging murderer in the third act.  With absolutely no possible way of knowing its relevence unless you’ve already lost the game that way.

I don’t know about the stadium situation on SL, but after the Furgeson riots, I’m pretty sure “C” applied.

When I saw Juju react, I thought Mason was dead.

You should really try making your own chili oil.  nothing like homemade.

Not after they way they handed it to us all season.  The A’s are dangerous.

All season. They swept the Stros earlier too.

Also, Need For Speed was the game that first triggered my love for the RX-7.

I looked at both of these cars in the late 90's and settled on the RX-7.  It was so much fun, although in the shop constantly.  But one thing they don’t really mention in the video is that the Supras generally cost twice as much to acquire.  At least in Houston in the late 90's.  That has to factor in.

Has anyone done a breakdown of the two pitchers in the run support they received.  I watched most of the games, and it sure felt that Verlander was in tie and run one games much more often.  I have no statistics to back this up, so may be totally wrong, but it sure felt like Cole was always pitching with big leads.

Not to mention he could give Andy Reid lessons in clock mismanagement and timeout misuse.  Still don’t understand what he’s done to earn this kind of franchise control.

I remember hating the controller, but wasn’t this the console with basically no copy protection?  I remember being able to get copied games for $1.

On the other hand, what are they risking? Didn’t have to trade for him, and got him at a bargain.

best: original The Shining.
