It was always an arbitrary line in the sand that some old broadcasters were holding. I do think it’s a sort of poetic justice that the first player to do it is a closer, because thats another subcategory that those same old timers were devaluing.

I bought my first Porsche in 2018. A new 718 Cayman S. I thought it handled much better than the 911. Can’t say I prefer the sound of the turbo 4 over the flat 6, but it is super quick and the PDK transmission is shockingly good.  And damn, the Black on Black with 20" black satin wheels looks so good.
