Then...I’ll just play it there?

Then they’ll buy it there.

I don’t care if it’s the Bethesda launcher. PC is PC.

But one thing that writers tend to learn in their development is how to identify what details and storylines aren’t strictly necessary to tell your story. You normally aren’t able to keep an audience captive long enough to go through every background element you’d like.

Yeah, this is pretty much how all media is. It’s just as time goes on only the gems get remembered while the present trash is still very visible.

For why people like it:

I’ll never understand how the silly premise of “Final Fantasy but with Disney” turned into such a convoluted series of games.

> 3 pretty much wrapped up the arc that all the other games had been leading up to and this is essentially the start of a new story arc.

The problem is that the third game ended with even more questions and then dropped multiple more plot threads that were seemingly already wrapped up.

Understandable, a lot of it definitely does seem like Nomura throwing crazy shit at a wall and seeing what sticks. I still love it personally but the story isn't as important to me as the gameplay and characters themselves so it's a bit easier for me to enjoy.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Sora only looks like that for one world, the more realistic art style could lend itself toward it being an MCU-themed world, which they can’t just ignore with it’s popularity. It was surprising they didn’t touch on it with 3 as well.

Nah, time travel are a popular go-to tropes if you want to throw your coherent plot papers in the air in frustration and go all-in on your lust towards fantasy, and I feel that describes Nomura’s storytelling.

Nomura really wants FF13-Versus to happen, despite this franchise being his baby. You gotta respect that after looking at this aesthetic.

And here I thought Stranger of Paradise was full-Nomura - I was wrong.

Or not having physical space to keep the games they love...

“Tokens are now practically worthless”

Cue the dumbass cryptbros: yOu JuSt DoN’t UnDeRsTaNd CrYpTo BrO tRuSt Me It’S bEtTeR tHaN rEaL mOnEy!!!! now give me some real money for my fake money!

Yeah, it felt like the content tag was solely there to make the story sound more interesting, not as a way to warn readers.

You described Christianity throughout history though, not just born again Christians. This isn’t new behavior.

Yeah, this could have been a pretty good article but how negative it is, for basically no good reason, renders it basically junk. It’s 90% “This isn’t what I want” and 10% “Oh wait, maybe I should backtrack a little on the hate...? Nah.”

I know it’s annoying that the translator wouldn’t answer the writer’s DMs, but that doesn’t necessarily warrant the negative tone of the article.
