I’ve always wondered, what is it about gay couples that makes other people feel so insecure?”

The fact that 48 new courses are inbound likely means Nintendo completely agrees with you.

Same. I don’t know how you improve on this right now, so I’ll just take MORE of this brilliant game. I’m still playing online daily, so more courses is just extra MK cocaine.

I’m probably in the minority here but I have no desire for a new Mario Kart. 8 has been perfect so more courses is a dream to me.

That’s exactly what somebody who is going to raise the price of Game Pass would say!

I can’t imagine what he could say that would quell any of these concerns that the gaming community would believe.  I don’t expect GamePass will ever be Microsoft’s Costco Hot Dog.

Good to see James Stephanie Sterling getting some love. Thank god for them!

PERFECT assessment. 10/10

So....a solution? Sounds like you don’t want them to explore these cultural identifiers and the explorer-genre tropes. Should half the cast be fired and people you find “approved” be playing this game?

This makes me think of a quote that says, the best part about being a socialist/communist is telling people that you’re socialist/communist. Not saying you have to be poor, nor do I even know who this person is but a lot of “comrades” on the internet just like to talk a good game.

Elon probably saw what this guy did and though “I like the cut of his jib” and offered him a job

This reminds me of the time I hosted a chess tourney at my house during the Christmas holiday. Lots of folks showed up but they just stood around near the front door talking about how great they were at the game.

I don’t think it’s that unusual for a Japanese company. A lot of anime/games have issues with translations and things because some Japanese publishers demand total control or approval over all kinds of things from casting, scripts, etc and do things like check every line of an adapted work for approval or get obsessed

Nintendo would win quite easily on trademark or asset/character/story copyright even if the code were legally reverse-engineered.

Even then, it’s safe: he used bulk resellers to build it.

That’s really fascinating. I had no idea that Nintendo had such an extensive archiving policy, but it’s very impressive to hear about. To think that the source code for possibly every Nintendo-licensed title ever might be sitting in a (metaphorical) vault someplace, some of them for decades. What a treasure trove.

The most nuanced take I have on the whole difficulty debate is that, as a developer, From Software is allowed to produce their game as a work of art however they want to. Where as people are allowed to criticize that work and ask them to do better, they have every right to listen to that criticism and iterate their

To be fair...the industry doesn’t do much to engage gamers.

This just further goes to show how good Hello Games and Murry are as a company and a person.  For all the problems No Man’s Sky had at launch I can’t think of another single studio that has put in as much work as they have since launch for all the free expansions and near constant improvement’s No Man’s Sky has got

What, is this the Pokémon community all of a sudden? “Every new Pokemon game must include every Pokémon that has ever existed including all the new ones. They must all be given brand new models—we WILL count the polys in the mesh—and zero attacks and animations are allowed to be re-used, they must all be brand new.
