I chuckled at first b/c I thought he was being sarcastic and then realized he was just being a straight-up dick. I thought it was extremely risky to make a dish without a traditional protein, and a cold soup to boot.
Ugh he was insufferable as a judge in this episode. Right out of the gate at judge's table. So over the top and food network-y.
One very sad thing: Padma's denim jumpsuit (?!)

Yes! Prince of Egypt was so pretty.
I always loved the one where they were battling some sort of slime monster that kept growing— so scary!
Not surprised at the misogyny of the VF piece when you have to leaf through pages and pages of emaciated female models posed on all fours just to get to it.
And a fabulous choice of music with the Muddy Waters song. Love me some LP!
Very LOST-y.
