I’m in the same boat. The Rabbids and also the weird laser guns and other weapons. I can’t help but wish this was a purely-Mario-themed game with characters tossing shells, fireballs, Bob-ombs, etc. at each other like a vehicle-less, tactical Mario Kart battle mode.

Agreed I despise the rabbids. I’m hoping a friend gets it so i can test it out first to see how bothersome they are. I like tactics games but the trailer and gameplay videos still gave me the impression that I am not going to like the rabbids

Agreed. Might as well be playing as a Minion. I don’t personally want to spend a single moment controlling the abominations I see in the top image. There are plenty of great games that won’t make me hate myself

People who prefer the PS2's “quality” visuals are the same people who think VHS offers an experience you can’t get with Blu-ray and that the distortion and low fidelity fuzzing sounds on ancient LP’s are better than than crystal clear audio where you can hear all the instruments.
