Thank you very much for this review. I played through most of the first game but abandoned it as the violence in that game was too much and opted to watch a Let’s Play for the ending. This sequel will not be for me, though I am curious about the story so I will likely enjoy the commentary around the game much more

Is this going to be a Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeros situation? A prologue in Midgar with the rest to be released all together? I could see this Midgar prologue releasing on current gen systems with the rest to follow on next-gen.

I’m sorry, Tetris Effect is a fine game, but how this bumps Spider-Man boggles my mind.

There were rumours recently about a Switch release, has there been any confirmation on that?

On one hand, I have an enormous amount of sympathy for EA’s various studios: making Star Wars games, and answering to the fanbase’s enormous expectations, must be almost backbreaking. On the other hand, however, wow has EA ever just stank up the joint on their Star Wars exclusivity deal. What an incredibly

Now that is a beautiful car.

I cannot BELIEVE that Kirk didn’t remember that it was Iola Morton, Joe’s girlfriend, who got fridged!! And then the later books in the series when Joe and Chet have an emotional moment about Iola dying!! MAN. That was some great storytellin’

Goddammit, really?!

This lineup makes Xbox’ Games with Gold look like some real bullshit. Enjoy, PS owners.

Yeah, fuck you, Whitney.

The only way to effectively police the Internet into some form of civility is to remove anonymity.

Hasn’t this already been done with The Old Republic? I feel like Bioware has already paved the way with that game. Each campaign can be approached and played totally as a single player game and then you can jump into Flashpoints or Raids or whatever you want if it suits you.

He did see the goodness in Ben Solo. He didn’t kill him and felt ashamed even for igniting his blade against a scared boy.

I wonder how much the weight of certain expectations doomed this game? I say “doomed” with a big rock of salt. It sounds from the review that it’s a fun, enjoyable game but misses out on greatness.

This whole thing, from the name of the company, the design of the bike, the price... it’s just a complete exercise in bad taste.

Very neat find. I sorta hope that if the guy who bought the jeep is able to sell it for 15K he’d split it with the widow. Just seems like the right thing to do.

How can anyone call Batman “lawful good”? He is, by his very nature, an extra-judicial vigilante who beats criminals bloody with his bare hands and extracts information through enhanced interrogations. He is chaotic good at best.

There’s a good article on Kotaku about the development of ME:A and the issues the team ran into with Frostbite. Apparently a lot of core RPG systems such as inventory management aren’t things that Frostbite does well at all.

I laughed, but come on, man, he’s an 11 year old kid. Let’s hope he turns out ok.

I was scared when I clicked on the link that it was going to be “fish sauce”. All hail butter!
