I would definitely not work for a company that a) openly underpays whatever they’ve valued their employees at and b) has no option for increased compensation commensurate with my growth in the company (which, as a result, leads to the company’s growth).

I’m assuming you’re talking about the Dragon God after defeating the tutorial boss? Scripted hits that progress the game are allowed in no hit runs. Seath, for example, in Dark Souls I, has to “kill” you to progress the game forward.

He started using the hitbox like a week or something before eleague, which is pretty ballsy!

Daigo still has great reactions. He can still whiff punish and play footsies. (Another example of an older player in his 40s who can still hang with the new blood is Alex Valle, who won an amazing losing-matchup against one of the best Sagat players in the world: youtube.com/watch?v=4r6Ev7FvwtI)

If you have an active student email address (I haven’t taken any classes in over four years, but TCC keeps accounts for like ever), you can just sign up for Amazon’s student version of Prime, which isn’t any different except it’s half the price (not only that, but the first six months is free). Have used it for two

Counterpoint: Twitch chat isn’t universally awful. There are a bunch of small streamers who have welcoming, non-jerk, non-racist-spam communities. These are usually the only ones I ever watch.

This, to me, is the best way to make a grilled cheese. I disagree with his assessment that cheddar is the only cheese. But I do agree with his method.

Can you define “unfinished”? That’s a really subjective term. Does a fighting game have to meet some defacto standard feature set before it can be called finished? Isn’t any game with post-release content unfinished? If a developer released a game with two characters and it just immediately dropped you into offline

Not necessarily. Demonstrable hacking skills for a project of this scope can look great on a resume (provided the game actually is good and not full of bugs).

You’re just mad about your lose.

Before my wife and I were married, we toyed with the idea of switching last names, you know, like I take her last name and she takes my last name (partially as a joke, partially because we’ve never heard of anyone doing this before (and the internet didn’t turn up anyone who had either), and partially because we were

I use Linux exclusively and have been since 2007.

You may not have, but other people did!

I've barely played the SFIII series, and I've never even played him in a match, but Q still manages to be one of my favorite characters in any fighting game. Hakan too (although I do play him :P). I guess I'm just attracted to quirky characters.

Why? Box2D is a good physics library, readily available for free, with several ports to different programming languages and environments. Erin Catto created it to be used. If he didn't want it to be used, he wouldn't have bothered writing it at all. He's obviously happy with the results. I don't understand why it

Why the anger? He released the library under the zlib license, which grants permission to freely use, modify, and redistribute the code for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, as long as you don't misrepresent who authored it (don't say you created it). It doesn't even require you to say you used it! You can read

Was I the only person that looked at the image and thought of Chrono Cross?

Can anyone tell me what song is used in the video? (Nevermind, found it!)

"It might even be finny fun."

The 360 *does* support four player co-op, both online and offline. The issue is that, say, you and your buddy can't mix the two by teaming up locally and playing online together against other people (whereas you can on the PS3). You can still pair up with other people online and do two, three, or four player co-op.
