The best game IMO is the kinect adventures pack in. most of the others remind me of what is known as "shovelware" on other consoles (wii wii)..

i have been thinking about this and another possibility is that N will launch a completely new and separate product line from the wii. Regardless of blogger bitching, the wii has lots of life left at at $99 (maybe xmas) will still sell well for family kids type games. A new hard core aimed console would not impact wii…

if you annualize these numbers (i.e., adjust for the xbox's extra year on the market) and make an educated guess re: how many xbox's are replacements (i am on my 3rd), I would say that Sony is probably farther ahead than it seems.

My blindingly obvious comment: Why would Nintendo announce a new console 1-1 1/2 years before it will be for sale? Wouldn't this have an adverse affect on sales of the current console? The 3DS was announced at E3 and available 9 months later, i cant see Nintendo announcing a console that ships that far into the future…

I'm jealous! Today i went to GameStop and later walked around Target and Best Buy and didn't get a single bite on my streetpass, SIGH. Well at least i did get some coins!

Make certain to use WPA and a good (long) password. I foolishly set up a guest network w/o password. Why, because a) all my neighbors had wifi b) all my family and friends have smartphones and wanted to use my wifi when they came over. I figured it didn't have much range anyway.

All the hysteria over the 3DS battery life is generated by bloggers (sorry Bash). I haven't heard a single user complain and AFAIK it is because you really cant use the 3DS for more than about 3 hours anyway without going blind.

Nintendo games are too hard!

i fear that the 3DS will end up being Nintendo's handheld GameCube. IMO, the game prices esp. for games like pilotwings is too high in todays market and N refuses to accept this.. Sony is being much more realistic and i till be very interested to see how well the NGP plays out.

take a break every hour or so and you'll be fine
