sounds like you would have been happier with a wii

ROFL, still the 3DS is pretty heavy for a pedometer!

My only comment is that the 3DS is noticeably heavier than the iPhone and it pulls down that side of my pants :-(

It really is true, we are a nation of complainers! (and yes i am complaining about that)

It shows a picture of LBP2 and says "Playstation Move compatible" which it is not...

I don't think so...

I absolutely agree and I said it in December "where's the beef"?

went to GS to pick up my preorder around noon. Store was empty and there was a large stack of preorders waiting for their pickup. plenty of games available, although the clerk told me that Toys-r-Us was sold out on games and GS was not matching their buy 1 get 1 1/2 off price.

i have stopped playing DA2 until the patch is out. I am stuck in a dungeon where none of my characters respond to the controller. Sadly as all the dungeons look the same i have just decided to wait for the patch.

@McWhertor there appears to be no shortage of units in the US. All the major retailers are offering incentives on the 3DS and/or software. I assume if demand was greater than supply they would not be offering incentives and also i haven't seen any mention of pre orders being sold out on any of the big online sites.

Isn't Lego Starwars a 3DS launch title? And what is Kotaku's advice for it?

I hate that it is so hard to find older reviews and articles. Plus there seems to be a lot of wasted space around the 2 columns.

I think that it is very interesting to see so many sellers offering incentives to buy the 3DS. Generally when demand exceeds supply there are no incentives to increase demand..

i admire your will power, i gave in when i discovered i could trade in my DSi with my pre-order at GS and bring the price down considerable.. Sadly, I dont really care for any of the launch software but i have enough DS games to hold me over for Zelda and Starfox ;-)

you are right about perception, but what really changed my perception was having good iPhone games available for free-$4.99.

its in their own interest to push this. Nintendo's value is in their software not their hardware (notice how the same software keeps getting ported forward). They lose big if they have to sell Super Mario 64 for $1.99

i think most people would agree with you , actually. I wouldnt pay $40 for pilotwings but i will buy zelda and a 3d donkey kong would be killer.

when you consider all the possibilities for gaming, does anyone including kotaku staff really think that games for the 3Ds are worth $40?

after playing with pilotwings at best buy i would say $249. I dont think speculators are going to profit on this. i could be wrong...

saw 3Ds at BB today, couldn't get the hack to work so just played w/pilot wings. Am seriously considering canceling my pre-order, hopefully it was just pilotwings...
