good way to ultimately differentiate it from the vita. plus 802.11b is not really suitable for streaming video or music from the cloud and cheaper than the DSi... SONY is hitting the price competition hard!!

personally i think that the dim display is the problem causing slow sales. I saw several ones at a Sony store and they all were noticeably dim on full brightness..

more than that, i think they are admitting that the market has changed. This is a ripple effect from the huge impact smart phones has had on the handheld game market.

My other reaction is Damn! the margins on the 3DS must be hugh for them to drop the price 30% and still make a profit (and leave room for retailer profit).

i had an unprotected guest network intended for my friends with smartphones who were constantly wanting my pw to use their phones. I didnt give it much thought (sadly) because wifi doesnt travel very far but one day i saw a neighbor sitting in her kitchen window with a laptop...

i think comcast should just have an additional charge for over 250GB like the wireless carriers do. I had an open access point w/Comcast until I got a notice that someone had illegally downloaded a movie which i was now responsible for... needless to say i no longer have any open access
