Similar issue. It always takes two clicks on embedded Twitter videos. First one the thumbnail disappears for a few seconds, then comes back and I have to tap again to get it to play.

I’m using an iPhone in the Google chrome app. I hit play on the video, and it disappears. This happens to me constantly over the past month or so.
