That’s not how it works. You can’t just take a valid patent out on something that already exists and claim it as your own. That’s a concept known as prior art. Prior art can prevent a patent or render one invalid.

And articles like this help me make an informed decision about which developers I support.

For what it’s worth many people have long been arguing that no micro transactions belong in a full priced $60 game, cosmetic or otherwise. Cosmetic only in a free to play game? Perfectly acceptable, but even though Destiny 2 has gone sort-of free to play there’s still expansion content players need to purchase to

You can sort your games alphabetically, by recently played, by file size, by console (Xbox OG, Xbox 360, Xbox One), by Xbox One X enhanced, and a few more I believe. So I’d say that’s loads better than the Switch. It’s easy to find stuff in the store too.

I finished playing Celeste on the Switch just a couple of days ago, 95% of the time using the Switch Pro Controller. It was utter hell. Any slight deviation from exactly the correct arrow makes the controller output a diagonal. Anyone who has played Celeste knows this is far from ideal. I have died countless times

That’s unfortunate. I rather enjoyed the game and its campaigns (not too big a fan of playing other people) I suppose I can still play it all but it’s sad it won’t be getting more updates.

It’s actually a solidly ok game with a decent pve setup to it.

Catsuka has dug their own digging and are attributing most of it to the director. They’ve dug up past work of his that was also used plagiarized material.

Yeah, this reads like an alarmist message from the PR folks at the Worldwide Association of NetworK Streaming Services (WANKSS) that want people to stop sharing passwords to get more subscribers.

Ah, fuck. This won’t end well.

Okay? Bruh, he’s making a recommendation, with some guidelines and caveats. Chill.

1: Does this series need to be plaed in order or is it a “jump in wherever” type of deal?

He went into a bit more detail, but also managed to avoid saying the words “Hong Kong” and “China”. So, it’s better than companies have historically done after these moments, but that’s a really low bar, and it could be a lot better.

Notably, Blitzchung’s 6 month suspension still stands.

it wasn’t a “tough hearthstone esports moment”, it was a political nightmare. Based on the quote in the article here (don’t know if there was more to the apology left unquoted), it doesn’t even sound like he’s addressing what it was actually about.

If this drowns out the clusterfuck year Activision-Blizzard has had I will be more disgusted than I already am. Seriously, fuck Activision’s executives

Ok?

Do you guys only have a week long memory, to say it's the tail end of a blizzard controversy?

i love the Lite idea, but my history with joy con makes me not want to buy this whatsoever. they seem to fail rather frequently, and having to send in the entire unit for repair would be a nightmare. any word if the “sticks” are better on the Lite compared to traditional joy con?

The problem with that is that this may be the only form a beloved franchise takes for the foreseeable future which is understandably disappointing for fans of Castlevania (post-SotN probably).

It’s true that the product isn’t for me, so I’ll just ignore it. It just sucks that after the wonderful DS games, this is the
