You’ll cancel season tickets because of a net, and you’re talking about over-reactions?

Not to be a downer, but all that means nothing, so I hope we all don’t just use that as “well, story’s over”. The girl who died at the Blue Jackets game (which led to the introduction of netting in the NHL) was up and about right after being hit before she died 2 days after being hit.

I tried playing this game when they released it on eshop and it was a slog to play. I know I’m outside the demo for it, but c’mon.

It’s troll logic. Anything criticizing what they like is immediately hate.
You see it a lot with faux-intellectuals and a certain pachyderm-based political party too.

Because this is an obvious use case that they should have anticipated. They put on a massive sale with large numbers of discounts, people coming in and gobbling a bunch of them up is a logical thing to account for.

Hate? The headline was very clear: Epic Games Store will block your account if you buy too many games... because the Epic Games Store has been blocking accounts for buying too many games.

Man Fahey, kind of harsh to call transformed “basic”. Strip away the Mario characters from Mario Kart and you’d have the same thing. Sonic Racing Transformed is one of the greatest kart racers ever.

Look at his shoe and look at the speed bump by his foot. That speed bump looks a lot closer to the 3" (half his claimed height) stated by the city.

It was spoiled for me before I played it because it’s all anyone could talk about.

The Castlevania one seems like the biggest departure from the source material to me. Far more than swapping out Samus for Dirk the Daring in a bubble helmet. Given the time period, that seems like a pretty natural decision for the suits in charge of a production company like Dic.

Pritchford’s comments on the issue were... not good. He had a lot of inflammatory remarks about Steam and Valve, and then said that while the Epic store has a LOT of issues, his game is so great that Epic will be forced to make their storefront better.

Seriously? It’s the weekend, and this isn’t exactly triple-A news. What a fucking pathetic attitude.

It bums me out that you are out there somewhere, genuinely convinced you made a good point.

There is zero benefit to the customer when Epic nabs an exclusive for themselves, and several tangible negatives. It’s pretty straightforward to understand, and so thank you for this breakdown.
